As industries rapidly digitize their supply chains, the challenge lies in balancing technological advancement with sustainability. This panel discussion will explore how digital transformation—enabled by AI, Machine Learning, Blockchain, and other emerging technologies—can support sustainable practices in supply chains. Panelists will discuss how to leverage these technologies to optimize operations, reduce carbon footprints, and promote ethical standards. The discussion will also highlight the integration of sustainability and decarbonization efforts into digital transformation strategies, and emphasize the importance of diverse leadership perspectives—particularly the role of women in chemical industry logistics and supply chain leadership.

Currently, she is a Research Engineer in the Research Group at BASF SE in Ludwigshafen, Germany, specializing in thermodynamics simulation, column design, process optimization, and process development.
The Pop in Your Job:
In my daily work I combine research, technology, and production in an amazing way to innovatively transfer theory into practice, in such a way I inspire my child in research and chemistry (as he always says).
