In this role, he oversees trade compliance operations and strategies across the EMEA region, ensuring full adherence to international customs regulations, export controls, and audit requirements. With more than 15 years of experience in global trade compliance and logistics, he has extensive expertise in implementing SAP GTS systems, conducting trade compliance risk analyses for M&A, and managing audits in both the EU and the United States. Before joining Axalta, he held various compliance and logistics roles at NORMA Group, UCB, and QIAGEN. Makram Gharsallah holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Management from FOM University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf.
